Mary Calder (1931-2010) was an American television and film actress and comedian who proved that there is no age limit when it comes to hilarious, character-driven performances. Mary was most often seen in television commercials, where her improvisational comedic style added extra value to versatility in playing roles of varying ages, races and personality types. Mary was also a regular in the improv theater scene in the San Fernando Valley, often playing avante garde characters that blew up the usual stereotypes about growing old.
