Lovers TV Show
Lovers was a public access television program, created and hosted by Mary Calder, that featured inspirational topics and guests and frequently touched on the topic of love and how to bring more of it into your life. The show was videotaped weekly in front of a live studio audience from a television production studio (street view) (aerial view) operated by American Cablevision in Ferguson, Missouri. The show aired from 1983 to 1985. After taping, copies of each episode would be distributed (“bicycled”) to the other cable operators in the St. Louis area, making the show available to virtually all cable subscribers across the St. Louis metro area.
Episodes
Many of the episodes of Lovers on this site were digitally captured from 35 year old VHS or U-Matic videoapes. The quality of the picture and/or sound will vary by episode. The audio is extremely low for some episodes. Audio levels will be adjusted in the near future.
